BLUT UND BODEN

Testimony of an asylum seeker.

Blut und Boden is a project which deals with migration, belonging, and exclusion. It attempts to portray the situation of the countless stuck in front of Europe and questions the biopolitics of contemporary borders. By juxtaposing passport-sized polaroid photographs of the razor-wire on Slovenian border, and collages, text, and found material from various refugee facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia, it follows families and individuals, who are stripped of their context and history, and cursed into the perpetual cycle of migration.
